Gen has worked predominantly in Private Practice since graduating from Notre Dame University. She is experienced in the assessment, treatment and management of pelvic health related conditions, especially during the antenatal and postnatal period. Gen is currently expanding her skillset with studying a postgraduate certificate at Curtin University which specialises in Continence & Pelvic Health.
Gen can treat an array of Continence and Pelvic Health conditions but has a special interest in helping women throughout their pregnancies and in the postnatal period to help return back to exercise. Gen is trained and very experienced in clinical Pilates and has a really good understanding of what movement patterns to encourage during pregnancy to help reduce pain and manage problems such as pelvic girdle and pubic symphysis dysfunction.

Gen has played high level netball throughout her teenage and adult years, and following the birth of her little girl, was keen to return back to high intensity exercise. This makes Gen really well equipped for pacing women back to their return to exercise following birth.

Alongside her passion for pregnancy physiotherapy management, Gen is also able to treat and assess conditions such as incontinence, prolapse and pain with sexual intercourse. She has taken her learnings from her postgraduate training and implements the latest evidence based treatment strategies to help with these problems.

Gen is available for Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Pregnancy Physiotherapy & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at our Balcatta clinic on Monday's.
